Z-Cars
was a very popular TV series which spawned the spin-off series Softly
Softly. I know of only four paperbacks published, the first in 1962
by May Fair Books Ltd, the second two by Trust Books (with all publishing
profits being donated to the Oxfam charity) and one by Consul Books.
There was also a hardback version of the first novel published by Severn
House Publishers in 1975.
