Stingray
was a children's TV Sci Fi series made with puppets using a technique
called supermarionation by Gerry Anderson. It ran for one season of 39
episodes from 1964 to 1965.
Stingray books were first produced in the UK by Armada Books and only two paperback novels were printed. In 1992, Young Corgi started printing novelisations of the original TV episodes, but after four books the series halted. In 1992 Boxtree Books started printing younger reader novelisations of some of the episodes but ended after eight books. ![]() ![]() |
