Stargate
: SG1 lasted for ten seasons and produced a spin-off series called Stargate
: Atlantis. It ranks as one of the longest running US Sci Fi series
alongside The X-Files (and the variations on the Star Trek theme).
There were four books of the series originally (published by Roc Books in the US and Channel 4 Books in the UK), and in 2004 Fandemonium Books started publishing a very welcome whole series of new books. These latest books are numbered (we book collectors LOVE numbered series !) In addition, there was of course, the book of the original film (Signet Books) which was followed by 5 sequel novels (Roc Books) |
