Following
the success of the five Planet of the Apes movies (pictures of novels
below) came two TV series, "Planet of the Apes" and "Return
to the Planet of the Apes". Award Books published four books from
the first TV series, and Ballantine Books published three from the second
series. The fourth book in the first series is extremely hard to find,
though I have recently acquired a copy and the image is included below.
In 2001, Planet of the Apes was re-made as a new movie which saw the publication of a novelisation and subsequent sequels, including some younger reader novels from Harper Books. Many thanks to Rich Handley for further information and images |
