Game
of Thrones was a fantasy television series that ran for eight seasons
from 2011 to 2019 based on the 'Song of Ice and Fire' book series by George
R.R. Martin (list at bottom of gallery). Only the
first book in the collection was re-published with a TV tie-in cover.
The series spawned a franchise starting with a prequel series 'House of
the Dragon' set 200 years before the events of 'Game of Thrones' that
has run for two seasons from 2022 to the present with two further seasons
confirmed. Another series based on Martin's novellas was 'A Knight of
the Seven Kingdoms' that has run for one season in 2026 with a second
season confirmed. As far as I am aware, there aren't any TV tie-in books
based on 'House of the Dragon' but there has been one book for 'A Knight
of the Seven Kingdoms'.
