Battlestar Galactica was a popular Sci Fi series from the late 70s and early 80s. There were fourteen titles in the series of books, the first two published by Futura Books, later reprinted by Berkley Books who went on to publish the rest of the series except Book 14. The last book (14) was published exclusively by Ace Books. The first three books were also reprinted in the UK by Titan Books.

Richard Hatch, who played the part of Apollo in the series, has in recent years started writing a number of original Battlestar Galactica novels. In addition to the new books, some of the original numbered series were reprinted as "Battlestar Galactica Classics".

And now of course, there is a brand new series of Battlestar Galactica, totally re-written and re-cast (now Starbuck is a lass !)
