Upstairs,
Downstairs was a long running ITV drama series during the 1970s and
starred, amongst others, Gordon Jackson as Mr Hudson (the Butler) who
later went on to star in avery different role in The
Professionals. All the TV books (11 in total) were published by
Sphere Books, once during the mid 70s and reprinted with different covers
during the late 70s / early 80s. A spin-off prequel novel was published
in 1976 by Futura Books set in times before the TV series entitled "The
Bellamys of Eaton Place".
Upstairs, Downstairs was so popular that it spawned a spin-off series featuring two of the characters, Thomas and Sarah. |
