Rebus was an STV (for ITV) crime drama series based on the Inspector Rebus novels by Ian Rankin (list at bottom of gallery) that ran for four seasons from 2000 to 2007. The first season starred John Hannah as the title character and for season two onwards the role was played by Ken Stott. Most of the ITV episodes were based on Rankin's books, but not in the order they were published. Several TV tie-in books were re-published by Orion Books and the gallery below arranges these by TV series episodes. The first four books shown have John Hannah on the cover, the remainder show Ken Stott. In 2024 the BBC produced a new re-imagined series of six episodes starring Richard Rankin (no relation to the author) using new scripts and not based on any books. = In My Collection / = Not in My Collection

Series 4 covered 'Resurrection Men', 'The Naming of the Dead' and 'Knots and Crosses' and the second episode was 'The First Stone' not based on any book. I have yet to find any TV tie-in covers for these.
