Mr. Men was a book series written by Roger Hargreaves (later the creator of Timbuctoo books and TV series) that started in 1971 and followed by the Little Miss series in 1981. Following Roger's death in 1988, his son Adam Hargreaves has continued the writing to the present day. Mr. Men and Little Miss have been on television several times... An animated television series was broadcast on the BBC for two seasons from 1974 to 1975, followed by the Little Miss TV series that ran for one season in 1983. The Mr. Men and Little Miss TV series ran for three seasons on ITV from 1995 to 1997, followed by The Mr. Men Show for one season in 1997. The Mr. Men Show was revived in 2008, shown on Channel 5 and ran for two seasons to 2009. Many hundreds of books have been published including annuals, and this gallery is not an attempt to list them all, just those I have collected or those I know about that I would like for my collection, having a fondness for the 'Ladybird-size' hardbacks.
