Lovejoy was a UK TV comedy-crime-drama series based on the novels by John Grant under the pen name Jonathan Gash. The series ran for seventy-one episodes over six series from 1986 to 1994, although there was a five-year gap between the first and second series. A number of the original novels have been re-published with TV-themed covers, mostly by Arrow Books.
