Leave it to Beaver was an American comedy TV series that ran for six seasons from 1957 to 1963. The first season was broadcast on CBS, the remaining five seasons on ABC. Three novels were published by Berkley Medallion Books plus a Little Golden Book and a Whitman authorized TV adventure book. The series was revived first as a TV movie 'Still the Beaver' in 1983 followed by a TV series 'The New Leave it to Beaver' (aka 'Still the Beaver') that ran for four seasons from 1983 to 1989. There was also a 'Leave it to Beaver' revival movie released in 1997 leading to a novelisation published by Price Stern Sloan Books.
