Swamp
by Gary Clark is another comic strip exclusive to Australia/New Zealand.
It first appeared in 1981 and is all about the animals living in and around
a swamp, particularly a duck called Ding who hasn't learned to fly. There
were 11 landscape books published by Swamp Productions Pty during the
80s. In addition, one colour book ("Clear for Take-Off") was
issued by Semic Press in 1988, and a promotional book for Nestle and two
further colour books by Swamp Productions Pty during the 90s.
Update : A new book was published in 2006 titled 'Full Power Ding Duck'. |
