Marmaduke
is a comic strip written by Brad Anderson (occasionally with Phil and/or
Dorothy Leeming) which started in 1953. Marmaduke books were not prevalent
in the UK, most books published only in the US (see below). As far as
I am aware, only seven in total were published, three by Target Books,
one mini-landscape book by Associated Newspapers and three by Ravette
Books.

US

The
first US books were issued by Monarch Books around 1958. A number of
other publishers produced Marmaduke books in the US, including Scholastic
Book Services, Tor Books, Signet Books and Tempo Books. A new book was
published in 2003 by Ballantine Books celebrating 50 years of Marmaduke.
