The
first Jak book was published in 1966. The second was issued in 1967
and the third in 1970. Thereafter they were issued one per year with
the exception of 1974. Jak books resized twice : Issues 1 - 10 were
half an inch shorter along the length than other landscape books of
the period. From Issues 11 - 18 the size was lengthened to match, and
then from Issue 19 they were resized again to match Giles and Mac books
sizes. The last book I know of is No 27 (1995) - I do not know if any
were issued beyond this date. The author, Raymond Jackson, died in 1997.
