For Better or For Worse by Lynn Johnston is one of my favourite comic strips. The books started (as far as I am aware) in 1981 published by Andrews and McMeel. The entire series was produced in the new square size paperback that seems to dominate the comic strip book format in recent years. Tor books by contrast published their series in the traditional size paperback during the 90s. The unusual thing about this strip is the fact that the characters actually age over the years, unlike others where characters remain the same for decades.
