The
first book was issued in 1980 as a carded covered magazine and the second
issued in 1981 in the same format. Thereafter the books were published
as landscape books (which became the new square shape in 1989 as did
most other comic strip books around that time). The
original series of books lasted for 19 numbered books, plus one extra
'colour collection' issued in 1987.
